AKF is dedicated to

Education
Assisting immigrant parents of special needs children in the Bay Area who face challenges due to cultural and language barriers, helping them discover available resources in their vicinity to ensure a joyful life despite disability.
Support
We strive to provide children and families with hope by supplying wheelchairs and other essential equipment that allows children to maximize their full developmental potential. Presently, this project serves Eritrea (East Africa) with a promise to expand to other areas of Africa in the future.
Our vision is to promote and sustain resources available to underserved communities through education and collaboration with other organizations serving individuals with special needs.
Empowerment
We are committed to providing our community leaders with exceptional training and empowerment, enabling them to become valuable resources for their community members on this critical topic.
