Our event that was held on March 28th 2015 was the first of its kind for our foundation. We raised an amazing $3950, which is almost 50% towards Aaron's next visit to the NAPA center for intensive physical therapy. Our goal is $19,000 to cover the cost of two visits per year.
The overarching mission of the Aaron K Foundation is to continue raising funds to assist Aaron on his path towards independence, raising awareness and creating aliances among African immigrant families who have children with disabilities. We are commited to continuing to create empowering community events to bring our culture greater strength and solidarity.
